Saturday was the Turkey Shoot Open and the day was a huge success with a full tee sheet with all the competitors giving us fantastic feedback about the course. The winners were a Saddleworth pairing, Dave Rhodes and Lee Tilley with 47 points. The dynamic duo combined wonderfully and the pair of mid handicap specialist ensured a winning score was put together. The runners up, Dave and Gary Garner came from Baxenden & District with 46 points who were delighted to walk away with a prize. In third place with 45 points was another Saddleworth duo, this time it was Millgate Champion Ian Bolton and Paul Glynn. The pair who have started playing on daily basis were thrilled to take the 3rd place, well done. Thank you to Comps and Handicaps for running the competition and to Dave Roberts and his Green staff for the excellent course conditions. It has been in excellent conditions this year, keep up the fantastic work!
