Saturday the competition was won by the dynamic duo, Nick Kerin and Andy Barlow. The pair of Single Figure handicappers combined wonderfully, and the higher handicap of the pairing, Nick, ensured his extra shot was used to their advantage. The pair were not fazed by the windy conditions as they both used their extensive course knowledge and the location of the sun to make sure they put together a winning score! In second place and losing out on victory on a card play-off were the low handicap pairing of Allan Entwistle and Charlie Nicholson. The pair put their experience came to the forefront for this solid pairing. In third PLACING were the Greens Chairman and the Treasurer - Dave Chapman and Andy Stott. The pair combined strongly and made it clear that the removal of all the winter rules was certainly the best decision!
