Saturday was a Club Single Stableford and leading the way with the best score of the day was Les Thompson in Division 2. Les, who has hit some form recently was delighted with his game and the Yorkshireman was thrilled to be back in winning form! Well played Les!
In Division 1 it was another man in form, Andy Barlow. The former Oldham left back, has hit some form the last couple of weeks and is scoring well... he has really set himself up for a good chance in the first Major of the Year, the Committee Cup with the first round coming up this week!
In Division 3 it was Angela Gerrard who stole the show with 40 points, Angela was over the moon with her round and she was happy to get the victory! She took the victory by 1 point from 90 year Pete Wild who scored an astonishing 39 points to take second place, what a fantastic achievement!!
